Lanark County Social Services - Social Housing

Since March 1, 2002 Lanark County has been providing the administrative and financial support for social housing providers.

There are approximately 840 social housing units in Lanark County and the Town of Smiths Falls. This number includes 484 public housing units, 248 non-profit housing units and 105 rent supplement units and other housing programs.

Housing units vary in size from one-bedroom apartments to five-bedroom townhouses. Some units are accessible for the physically disabled. Social Housing units are located in Almonte, Carleton Place, Clayton, Perth, Pakenham and Smiths Falls.
