Home Support

We’ve been putting our hearts into creating welcoming communities for seniors since 1975. Mills Community Support offers a full range of programs and services for personal care and safety, health and wellness, transportation, outings and gatherings, and nutrition. More details below and in our Seniors’ Services brochure.

Mills Community Support’s Home Support Program serves seniors and adults with disabilities who live in Carleton Place, Beckwith Township, Mississippi Mills (Almonte, Pakenham, Clayton, and Ramsay Township) and Lanark Highlands in North Lanark.

Over 780 people benefit from more than 19,000 individual services per year delivered through our Home Support office.

All services are coordinated by our staff and provided by 100 volunteers and paid-workers who undergo thorough reference and police checks, as well as vulnerable sector screening. Our services are designed to help seniors and adults with disabilities to live healthy, happy, active and connected lives both in their communities and at home, for as long as possible.
